Then and Now

Walking around places that are familiar, that have been visited, steps grow heavier with the weight of past memories piling upon the place like today’s snow.  What are the memories that flash through your mind as you walk around?

Go for a walk, a quiet, reflective walk. Take photographs, write down the memories (can be vague, phrases, etc.) Then return to the place with new memories, hang your memory to share with the world.  Create reflections of reflections of reflections. Where will it begin and end?

I’ve been listening to the quiet in the world as you have pointed out to me, straining for the noise of  the world to grow silent.  It takes effort, but it is beautiful. Check your mail in the next week, Marianne.  Better late than never, or too little too late?
